Book Clubs

The library offers two book clubs.

Our daytime book club, Chapter Chat is on the third Monday of each month at 1pm at Green Roast Cafe. The books range from historical fiction, biographical, non-fiction, etc.  There isn't a specific genre chosen for this club.

Between the Covers book club is on the first Monday of each month at 6:30pm at Kuger's Den in Jesup.   Books for this club are "chick lit" (Chick lit is genre fiction which addresses issues of modern womanhood, often humorously and lightheartedly. Although it sometimes includes romantic elements, chick lit is generally not considered a direct subcategory of the romance novel genre, because the heroine's relationship with her family or friends is often just as important as her romantic relationships)   

Unless suggestions are made regarding what books are read, the Library staff will choose the books to be read and discussed.

Books can be borrowed from our library.  We will do everything in our power to have multiple copies available to meet the need of all that are interested.
